Nihonbashi Sembikiya-Sohonten Introduces Haneda Airport Store-Exclusive Matcha Financier

A new matcha sweet is arriving exclusively at the Nihonbashi Sembikiya-Sohonten Haneda Airport Store starting April 1, 2026.

The Fruit Financier (Matcha) is a French-origin pastry shaped like a gold bar — the word "financier" itself means a financier or banker in French. The dough is made with Spanish almond powder and fermented butter, with Shizuoka-produced Tenkuu no Matcha® incorporated throughout. Strawberry pieces are scattered throughout, creating a balance of aroma and refreshing sweetness.

Tenkuu no Matcha® is made from tea leaves cultivated in mountain areas surrounded by nature, and is known for its rich aroma, deep flavor, and pleasant bitterness.

※ "Tenkuu no Matcha®" is a registered trademark of Koyanagizu Seiichi Shoten Co., Ltd.
