Children who are too short or too light to ride the zipline can still join in at Godzilla Interception Operation, the popular attraction at Nijigen no Mori, the anime park in Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park. From November 21, 2026 (Saturday) to February 28, 2027 (Sunday), the attraction will hold a limited-time "Junior Squad Member Exam" (ちびっこ隊員試験) for these children.
The exam is open to children who do not meet the height or weight requirements and who enter with a child ticket for the Light Ticket, Gold Ticket, Premium Ticket, or VIP Journey Pass. Participants make their way around the attraction spots of Godzilla Interception Operation and take on a variety of missions. Children who clear the missions receive an exclusive Godzilla Interception Operation "Junior Squad Member ID" (ちびっこ隊員証) as proof of being an NIGOD member.

Could you become an "NIGOD member," too?
Even without joining the zipline, children can fully enjoy Godzilla Interception Operation. Why not watch your child grow at the attraction?

About "Godzilla Interception Operation"
"Godzilla Interception Operation" is an entertainment attraction themed around a life-size, 120-meter Godzilla that has landed on Awaji Island, letting visitors feel its overwhelming scale and power. Participants join the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center and take on missions such as a zipline that sends them into the meticulously detailed interior of Godzilla and a shooting game in which they wipe out scattered Godzilla cells.
There are also plenty of indoor attractions, including the "Godzilla Museum," the world's first permanent museum of its kind, and the kids' area "Kaijuu no Mori," where young children can play freely with about 50 types of kaiju soft vinyl figures and more. Goods from the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center, as well as food that reflects the world of Godzilla Interception Operation, are also on sale.

Godzilla goods are plentiful at Godzilla Interception Operation too, with many original items on sale, including hats and figures. Wearing a cool hat or a cute headband while trying the attractions makes the world of Godzilla even more immersive.

Godzilla Collaboration Rooms at GRAND CHARIOT Hokuto Shichisei 135°
"Kaijuu Land" Godzilla Collaboration Room
"Kaijuu Land" (怪獣ランド) is a Godzilla collaboration room where kaiju from the Godzilla films of every era gather. The room features interior decor and tapestries depicting Godzillas from across the eras and popular kaiju, along with a partial view of the life-size Godzilla through the windows. A special treatment that changes how these elements look under light gives the room a different atmosphere by day and by night. Guests can also take on a "special mission" to find all the kaiju hidden in the room and win a special reward, making it a room designed to be enjoyed from day through night.

"Showa Toho Kaijuu Archives" Godzilla Collaboration Room
In honor of the 5th anniversary of "Godzilla Interception Operation: National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center," a new Godzilla collaboration room, "Showa Toho Kaijuu Archives" (昭和東宝怪獣資料室), has opened at "GRAND CHARIOT Hokuto Shichisei 135°," the official villa of Nijigen no Mori. The room features three-dimensional displays of weapons that fought Godzilla in Showa-era Toho tokusatsu films, along with storyboards and sketches, offering a space where guests can experience the history of Godzilla. Based on a "Showa retro" motif, it is furnished with a chabudai (low dining table), floor cushions, enamel signs bearing kaiju names, and shoji-style blackout curtains, so guests can enjoy Showa retro atmosphere alongside the kaiju.
The room also offers original novelties exclusive to the collaboration room and stay benefits. Overnight guests receive, exclusively, an admission ticket to "Godzilla Interception Operation," a faux leather coaster engraved with the Godzilla of "Godzilla Interception Operation," and a design-drawing art board of King Ghidorah, Godzilla's greatest rival, who first appeared in "Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster."
