Ninjala Surpasses 12 Million Downloads Worldwide

Ninjala, the free-to-play ninja gum action game for Nintendo Switch from GungHo Online Entertainment, has surpassed 12 million cumulative downloads worldwide as of June 26, 2026 (Saturday).

When Ninjala launched on June 25, 2020, it reached 1 million downloads in just 16 hours — an impressive debut. Now celebrating its 6th anniversary, the game continues to draw players from around the world. A "6th Anniversary Campaign!" is currently running in-game, and a "12 Million Downloads Celebration Campaign!" is planned for the near future, with details to be announced at a later date.

About Ninjala

Ninjala is a ninja gum action game set in a world of ninjas and sword combat. Players use "Ninja Gum" to dash across stages with dramatic elevation changes and battle opponents using a variety of weapons in dynamic 3D action. Inflating the Ninja Gum enables high-speed movement and weapon-specific attacks.

The game supports battle royale matches for up to 8 players and 4-on-4 team battles, all free to play and available without a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
