The mobile strategy game Nobunaga's Ambition: Shinsen is launching its first PK season, "四雄怒涛," in late July 2026. To mark the announcement, a teaser video has been released, offering a first look at the four Kanto factions set to collide in the new season.
First PK Season "四雄怒涛" Arriving Late July
"四雄怒涛" is the first PK season for Nobunaga's Ambition: Shinsen. The season draws inspiration from major historical battles — including the Battle of Kawanakajima and the Siege of Odawara Castle — and stages an all-out power struggle across the Kanto region. Four major forces take center stage:
- 北条 (Hojo) of Sagami
- 武田 (Takeda) of Kai
- 上杉 (Uesugi) of Echigo
- 佐竹 (Satake) of Hitachi
Dividing into two rival camps, these four warlords compete for control of the Kanto region. Players step into the role of a domain lord, using their own strategy and alliances to navigate the chaos. The season blends historical events with fresh interpretations, bringing a new dimension of tactical depth to the battlefield.
Teaser Video Released
The teaser video highlights each faction's defining character — the Tiger of Kai, the Dragon of Echigo, the Lion of Sagami, and the Demon of Hitachi — as they clash in scenes leading up to the Fourth Battle of Kawanakajima. Uesugi fights for justice, Takeda pursues territorial expansion, Hojo defends its people and homeland, and Satake struggles for clan survival. Each faction's beliefs and military strategies collide across Kanto.
Armor, garments, and weapons from the Sengoku period are rendered with careful attention to detail, delivering a cinematic sense of scale and immersion. Narration is provided by voice actor 最上嗣生, who voices 武田信玄 in Nobunaga's Ambition: Shinsen, adding gravity and atmosphere to the season's opening chapter.
