Ken Elephant's soft-vinyl studio Chukukobo has announced the third entry in its Noraneko Gundan coin bank series. The "Noraneko Gundan Marmie-chan Coin Bank" is scheduled for an October 2026 release, with pre-orders now open.

Noraneko Gundan is a popular picture book series illustrated by Noriko Kudo, published by Hakusensha (Codomoe no Hon). It follows eight stray cats who act entirely on impulse, causing a new commotion with every turn of the page. The series is packed with intricate detail in every corner of every spread, making it a delight for adults and children alike.
The new Marmie-chan Coin Bank is the third in the series, following the first "Noraneko Gundan Hansei Coin Bank" and the second "Noraneko Gundan Hokkamuri Coin Bank." Marmie-chan — a talking robot with an enduring love of food — is known for quietly and contentedly eating throughout the story. The figure captures that signature charm, depicting Marmie-chan serenely munching on an apple with eyes peacefully closed. Pleasing from every angle, it can be enjoyed as a coin bank or simply displayed as a decorative piece on a desk or shelf.
