Norrbottens Destilleri, a small-batch distillery based in Töre in northern Sweden, is bringing two new craft liqueurs to Japan for the first time: "Rhubarb Pie (Rhubarb & Vanilla)" and "Blueberry Pie (Blueberry & Vanilla)." Both go on sale Friday, October 16, 2026, drawing on rhubarb and blueberries, two ingredients long loved across the Nordic region.

Every product from Norrbottens Destilleri is built around a single idea: fusion. Carefully chosen ingredients are combined to build up new layers of flavor, starting from the rich natural surroundings of the distillery and the ingredients grown on that land. By pairing botanicals rooted in different soils and drawing out the character of each plant and herb at every stage of distillation, the distillery bottles only the blends that genuinely surprise and move its own team.
The two new liqueurs take their inspiration from pie, a food tradition loved in Sweden and across the wider Nordic region. Fruity and easy to enjoy in a range of styles, they're designed to bring a taste of Nordic lifestyle — and the natural bounty behind it — to Japan.

About Norrbottens Destilleri

Norrbottens Destilleri is a small distillery in Töre, a town in the far north of Sweden near the Arctic Circle. It was founded in 2016 by Dennis Bejedal. From selecting ingredients to blending and distilling, the distillery pursues new spirits built on creativity and possibility.
Surrounded by wild plants that grow in a harsh climate, the distillery makes fusion with nature its guiding policy. By combining carefully chosen ingredients — from plants gathered in the forest behind the distillery to botanicals foraged across the surrounding region — it builds distinctive layers of aroma and flavor that reflect the character of northern Sweden's nature.
From World-Traveling Poker Player to Arctic Circle Distiller
Founder Dennis Bejedal is a self-taught distiller. Born in Stockholm, he now lives in Pålänge, a small village of around 400 people in the far north of Sweden.
