A new capsule toy series featuring Ocha-Ken is heading to vending machines across Japan from late April 2026. Priced at 400 yen per play (tax included), Ocha-Ken: Softly Glowing Light comes in four varieties and is small enough to sit in the palm of your hand.

Ocha-Ken has been drawing renewed attention amid the Heisei retro boom, winning fans across generations with its warm, laid-back charm. The new capsule toy series brings that cozy world into mini mascot light form.
Flipping the switch on the bottom of each figure turns on a soft, gentle glow. With the switch off, the figures work just as well as decorative mascots for a desk or shelf.
The four designs in the lineup are Ryoku, Hana, Chai, and Aaru.
