To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Norse mythology open-world RPG ODIN: VALHALLA RISING (iOS/Android/PC), Kakao Games has launched a major update on June 18, 2026 (Thursday), adding the new "Sacrifice" class along with a series of limited-time events.
New Class "Sacrifice" Now Available
The new "Sacrifice" class is a secondary class branching from the primary class "Priest." It is a magic-type class that wields a forbidden tome imbued with forbidden power, manipulating enemies through various status effects such as Fear, Bind, and Silence. The class features high survivability while controlling battle situations with a wide range of movement-restricting skills.
In "Forbidden Tome Release" mode, players can unleash powerful attacks at the cost of their own HP, dealing additional damage based on the HP consumed. Additionally, enemies can be inflicted with the "Fear" status to cause confusion while dealing sustained damage — offering a unique combat style that balances risk and reward.
To commemorate the implementation of the new "Sacrifice" class, players can also obtain a "Class Change Ticket" for free, and a discount campaign on Class Change Coins is also being held.
3rd Anniversary: [Legend] Avatar Summon Ticket Giveaway
During the event period, all players who meet the conditions will receive a "3rd Anniversary [Legend] Avatar Summon Ticket." Using this ticket grants one avatar of [Legend] rank.
