A new collaboration between the beloved Swiss animated penguin Pingu and Thankyou Mart is launching across Japan. Starting from late May 2026, 27 summer-themed collaboration items will go on sale at Thankyou Mart stores nationwide, with all items priced at ¥390 (tax-included ¥429).
Online pre-orders via the official Thankyou Mart online shop opened on April 24 (Friday) at 12:00 PM.

Pingu is a stop-motion animated series originating from Switzerland, created by Ottmar Gutmann. It depicts the everyday life of Pingu and his friends in Antarctica with a warm, comedic touch. Thankyou Mart previously held a Pingu collaboration in March of last year, which proved very popular — and this follow-up has now arrived in response to that enthusiasm.
This new collection is centered around a "refreshing summer" concept, featuring animated designs of both Pingu and his sister Pinga across a lineup of items designed to add a little cheer to everyday life.
