Namco amusement arcades throughout Japan are celebrating Pokémon's 30th anniversary with the "Pokémon Anniversary Festival in Namco" campaign, running from July 24 (Friday) to October 25 (Sunday), 2026.

Highlights of the campaign include:

  • Large plush prizes featuring Eevee, Gengar, Pikachu, and more arrive in crane game machines
  • Inserting ¥500 into eligible crane game machines unlocks a chance to play the "Namco Lottery" for original Namco goods
  • Participating Namco locations give away an original sun visor (one design)
  • Four Namco locations nationwide become "Pokémon Flagship Stores," each with an exclusive crane game corner, giveaways, and a stamp rally

Large Plush Prizes Arrive in Crane Game Machines

Starting July 24, crane game machines at Namco locations nationwide begin stocking a lineup of Pokémon plush prizes, including a huggable, oversized Pikachu.


  • Pokémon "Mecha Mofu Gutto" Plush – Eevee Friends: Eevee (Napping Ver.): arriving the 4th week of July, approx. 23 cm
  • Pokémon "Mecha Mofu Gutto" Plush – Gengar: arriving the 5th week of July, approx. 32 cm
  • Pokémon "Mecha Mofu Gutto" Plush – Pikachu (Surprised Ver.): arriving the 2nd week of August, approx. 37 cm
  • Pokémon "Mecha Mofu Gutto Hokkori Iyasare" Plush – Snorlax: arriving the 2nd week of August, approx. 35 cm

Original Namco Sun Visor Giveaway

Participating Namco locations are giving away an original sun visor featuring Captain Pikachu from the TV anime "Pocket Monsters" (one design). Starting September 14 (Monday), a new giveaway item is introduced for the second half of the campaign.

Redeeming the sun visor requires presenting a coupon in the Namco Point app, and both the crane game prizes and the sun visor are available while supplies last.

Namco Lottery: Insert ¥500 for a Chance at Original Goods

At participating crane game machines, inserting ¥500 unlocks a chance to play the "Namco Lottery," which awards one piece of original Namco merchandise per play, with the prize determined by the draw. New goods join the lottery starting September 14 (Monday).

  • Clear pouch prize (2 designs): approx. W30 × H20 × D11 cm — a roomy clear pouch with handles, great for summer trips and outdoor use
  • Clear tumbler prize (2 designs): approx. 7 cm diameter × H10 cm — a simple, easy-to-use clear tumbler perfect for summer
  • Beaded strap prize (5 designs): approx. 12 cm — a beaded strap with acrylic charms to attach to a phone or pouch
  • Sparkle sticker prize (9 designs): approx. W6 × H6 cm — hologram stickers to decorate favorite belongings

Guests are asked to speak to staff before inserting payment, and the lottery goods are available while supplies last.

Four Namco Locations Become Pokémon Flagship Stores

To mark Pokémon's 30th anniversary, four Namco locations nationwide are being transformed into "Pokémon Flagship Stores." Each store features a dedicated crane game corner called the "Pokémon Get Challenge! Corner," along with exclusive giveaways and a stamp rally found only at these locations.

Flagship-Exclusive Sun Visors

During the campaign, each flagship store gives away an original sun visor in a design unique to that location. A new perk is introduced for the second half of the campaign, starting September 14 (Monday).

Stamp Rally Rewards an Original Clear File

Flagship store visitors can pick up a rally card and collect three in-store stamps to receive an original clear file featuring a 30th-anniversary sticker in a "Pocket Monsters" anime design (approx. W6 × H5 cm). The clear file design (4 versions, A4 size) changes with each period of the campaign.

Redeeming the rally card requires presenting a coupon in the Namco Point app. The clear file giveaway ends once supplies run out, and the distribution period for each design may change.

About Pokémon's 30th Anniversary

Pokémon marks its 30th anniversary since "Pokémon Red and Green" first went on sale on February 27, 1996 (Tuesday). A range of projects built around special anniversary themes are being rolled out throughout the year to celebrate the milestone.

About the "Pocket Monsters" TV Anime

The TV anime "Pocket Monsters" follows Liko, a girl from Paldea who carries a mysterious pendant, and Roy, a boy from Kanto who carries an enigmatic Poké Ball, as the two set out on a new adventure across the vast world of Pokémon. The series airs every Friday at 6:55 PM on TV Tokyo affiliates (broadcast times may vary by region).
