Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that PROJECT ZIRCON, a collaborative project to create a new game with customers, has begun trial version game development.
PROJECT ZIRCON set a goal to start game development if it reached 20,000 followers on its official X account by the end of December 2025, and has been rolling out various media mix projects. As a result, the project gained significant attention, and on December 12, 2025, the follower count finally surpassed 20,000.
Moving forward, PROJECT ZIRCON aims to complete the trial version by summer 2026. In the trial version development plan, the official X and Discord channels will post topics seeking customer feedback. Customers can participate in game development by posting responses to these topics on the official Discord. The first round of questions about game development was posted today on official X and Discord, so please join in!
Additionally, the final audition winner for the PROJECT ZIRCON official VTuber has been announced. The audition (hosted by Konami Digital Entertainment and any style, sponsored by Dwango) was held in May 2025, and the winner is Rune Salois. Rune Salois will appear in PROJECT ZIRCON-related content going forward. Please show your support!
