Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis ver.2 (NGS ver.2) received a major update on March 4, 2026, adding the seasonal event "Spring '26" along with new quests, equipment, and scratch content.
Season Event "Spring '26"
Period: March 4, 2026 (after maintenance) to April 1, 2026 (before maintenance)
Central City has been decorated with spring-themed motifs, and the Region Mag takes on a spring look. Fllur Rappies and Fllur Emperor Rappies have also appeared in various areas to help set the seasonal atmosphere.
Navigator "Shandy," dressed in a magic school student-style outfit, guides players through the event. Completing her requests earns rewards.
Limited-time tasks are available during the event, offering items such as TA Customize Disc X/Integrated, N-Master Cube, and Arms Refiner II. Title tasks have also been added for players to work through.
The Seasonal Point Exchange Shop carries a range of items, including BP "Choco Fountain," BP "Wall-Mounted Wine Rack," the enemy weapon-inspired accessory "Desas' Rifle," SG, and special ability capsules. N-Excubes, Tech Arts customization items, "Spring '26 Special Scratch Tickets," and equipment upgrade materials are also available.
Global Version PSO2 6th Anniversary Costume GET Campaign
Period: March 4, 2026 (after maintenance) to April 1, 2026 (before maintenance)
To mark the 6th anniversary of the global version of Phantasy Star Online 2, a Costume GET Campaign is running during the event period. Players can earn costumes and useful items by completing limited-time tasks.
Weekly Login Presents for the Global PSO2 6th Anniversary
Period: March 4, 2026 (after maintenance) to April 1, 2026 (before maintenance)
Players who log in during the event period can receive items including "Spring '26 Special Scratch Tickets." Logging in every Wednesday after 12:00 PM earns this week's set of rewards.
New Limited-Time Quest
Period: March 4, 2026 (after maintenance) to March 18, 2026 (before maintenance)
A new limited-time quest, "Simulated Drill: Blue Sky Sprint Skyscraper," has been added. Set in Nameless City, the quest has players leaping between high-rise buildings and supports up to 8 participants.
The quest includes the "Arks Interference Zone Enemy Subjugation" Trial and a battle against the Ruinas-type boss enemy "Ruino Eqs." Combat takes place on rooftops, so watching footing is essential. Ruino Eqs guards its head with its distinctive arms and attacks with a long sword-like weapon.
Title tasks and limited-time tasks tied to the new quest offer rewards including titles, SG, and "Spring '26 Special Scratch Tickets."
New Equipment
The new rarity ★14 weapon series, "Lifradio," has been introduced. It can be upgraded from the ★14 "Spladio" series, with improved weapon parameters and stronger Potentials after upgrading.
The upgrade material "Spladio Bolt I" can be obtained from the limited-time quest and other content.
Limited-Time Special Scratch: Spring '26 Special Scratch
Period: March 4, 2026 (after maintenance) to April 8, 2026, 11:00 AM
The seasonal "Spring '26 Special Scratch" is available during the event. Players can collect dedicated scratch tickets to obtain items including weapon camouflages "*Sakura Assorty," "*Clio Schriftbilden," "*Clio Shukka Shunyou," and "*Clio Scardare."
Some items from the "Spring '26 Special Scratch" are scheduled to be added to the regular "Special Scratch" lineup after the event ends, but availability will be lower, so picking up desired items during the event is recommended.
"Spring '26 Special Scratch Tickets" can be obtained from the Seasonal Point Exchange Shop, the limited-time quest, and other in-game activities.
Revival AC Scratch: 5th Anniversary Thankful Mar
Period: March 4, 2026 (after maintenance) to April 1, 2026 (before maintenance)
A revival AC Scratch, "5th Anniversary Thankful Mar," has been added to celebrate NGS's 5th anniversary. A "Ticket Version" that players can access for free by collecting in-game tickets is also available.
This second installment focuses on items from AC Scratches released between September 2021 and December 2021, around the time the Retem Region launched. The "5th Anniversary Thankful" series is planned to continue monthly throughout the 5th anniversary period with a rotating lineup.
New AC Scratch: Mystical Revelry '26
Period: March 4, 2026 (after maintenance) to April 1, 2026 (before maintenance)
The new AC Scratch "Mystical Revelry '26" features fantasy-themed costumes with dragon motifs and swallow-tail bunny wear.
Bonus rewards from this scratch include alternate versions of motion change items — "Idle: Sitting on the Ground EX" and "Idle: Floor Sit 2 EX" — as well as the weapon camouflage "*Dranvault."

Frame Heart Eye/B — A simple flat-coloring eye pattern with a heart-frame highlight.
Heavy Wheel — An oversized tire accessory with a strong visual presence. A rotating version is also available simultaneously.
Curly Side Extension — An extension-type accessory adorning the sides of the head, with curly strands that move naturally.
Machen Sauropod — An accessory modeled after a mechanical dragon. A paired version is also available simultaneously.
