Tokyo, together with the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture's Arts Council Tokyo, Minato City, and the Roppongi Art Night Executive Committee, will hold the art festival "Roppongi Art Night 2026" on October 31 (Saturday) and November 1 (Sunday), 2026. Taking over the streets of Roppongi as its stage, the festival brings a wide range of programs spanning contemporary art, design, music, film, and performance, centered around the neighborhood's museums and commercial facilities.

Point 1: The All-Night Format Returns
This year marks the return of the all-night format for the first time in three years, with more than 60 works and programs unfolding throughout the streets of Roppongi from evening until dawn. Family-friendly works take the stage in the early evening, performances and installations fill the streets at night, and film screenings and live music carry the festival from late night into the early morning, with a different atmosphere to enjoy at each time of day.
Point 2: Artists Active in France Gather for "RAN Focus"
"RAN Focus" is a program that shines a spotlight on a particular country or region. This year's focus is France, home of "Nuit Blanche," the all-night art festival that originally inspired Roppongi Art Night. Works and performances by seven artists active in France, including Charles Pétillon and Yoann Bourgeois, will be presented throughout the festival.
Point 3: New Art Discoveries with Every Step
Works chosen through an open call, community-participation pieces, and area-based programs held at Roppongi Hills, Mori Art Museum, Tokyo Midtown, The National Art Center, Tokyo, and other venues bring together a wide range of works by artists from Japan and abroad, coloring the streets of Roppongi.
A new encounter with art awaits with every step through the neighborhood.
