Sake Meets Flowers, DJs, and Dance at "SAKE BLOOM NIGHT" in Roppongi

A flower shop and a cafe right in front of Roppongi Crossing are being rented out for a single night to host "SAKE BLOOM NIGHT," an event that brings together sake, flowers, dance, and music. Around 150 sake brewery owners and restaurant industry leaders from across Japan are expected to gather, with DJs and dancers keeping the stage lively as the event shares new ways to enjoy sake, in Japan and beyond.

Why This Event Was Created

Japan's sake industry has faced difficult conditions in recent years, including falling consumption and a shortage of successors. At the same time, interest in sake is rising overseas amid a boom in Japanese food.

Organizer 5-DIMENSIONS Inc. drew on its strong network among business leaders, people in their 20s, and the music and dance culture rooted in the Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ebisu areas to design a new kind of sake experience connecting breweries with people who previously had little contact with sake. The event was planned as a way to open new paths for the sake industry and energize it as a whole.
