Royal Enfield's Digital Art Contest "Art of Motorcycling" Returns for Season 6 With Retro 16-Bit "GAME MODE ON" Theme

Royal Enfield's digital art contest, Art of Motorcycling (AOM, #ArtofMotorcycling), returns once again this year.

Building on the success of its first five seasons, AOM now enters Season 6. What began in 2020 as a small event brimming with passion and potential has grown into a global movement, giving artists, designers, and everyone who loves creativity a place to showcase their passion and embrace motorcycle culture as a lifestyle.

Season 6 is open to entries from 13 regions: India, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and the UK. Illustrators, photographers, graphic artists, and other creators will bring their own imaginative interpretations of motorcycling to life.

This year's AOM theme, "GAME MODE ON," reinterprets the thrill of motorcycling through the nostalgic lens of retro games. In this creative world where imagination is the cheat code, artists are invited to bring characters and their beloved bikes to life against pixelated horizons and uncharted stages, weaving in elements like soundtracks to make the world feel truly alive.

Since launching in 2020, AOM has drawn more than 150,000 registered participants, evolving from a platform originally spotlighting Indian artists into a global movement. In 2024, AOM made its international debut, expanding the contest to artists across the Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions. Today, the platform spans 13 countries, and its community of creators continues to grow with every season.

The "Adult Edition (Global)" category is open to artists across the Asia-Pacific region including Japan, as well as India, Latin America, North America, and the UK, accepting both digital works and hand-drawn pieces such as hand-painted art. Entries are first judged at the regional level before advancing to global judging. The "Global Winners" category honors the top entries from around the world, while the "Riders Choice" award puts the spotlight on the Royal Enfield community through social media voting.

Entries that pass national and regional judging are then reviewed by a panel of judges from around the world, and the selection process for the "Riders Choice" award also incorporates the voices of the global creative community. The artists behind the top seven works across all regions combined will be invited to Motoverse 2026 (November 27–29), Royal Enfield's annual community event held in Goa, India, and their designs will be adopted for a special AOM apparel line.
