S.Weil by HOTEL NEW GRAND
Sally Weil was the first executive chef of Hotel New Grand, which opened in Yokohama in 1927.
He brought freedom and innovation to Western cuisine in Japan and was beloved by many gourmets for his bright, modern French-style cooking. As a "gentle orthodox" establishment, this hotel shop carries on his achievements and techniques while proposing food and lifestyle that suits today's era. They offer a variety of products under the S.Weil brand, including frozen foods and retort products for enjoying classic Western dishes at home, bread and baked goods, Mocha Rulo, original coffee, and brioche. The brand name honors "S.Weil," a Western confectionery shop created by Sally Weil's disciples.
