Akafuku Co., Ltd. will participate in the 46th "Yokohama Takashimaya Gourmet Taste Selection" held at the 8th floor event space of Yokohama Takashimaya from February 19 (Thursday) to February 24 (Tuesday), 2026.
The event will feature a live demonstration sale where artisans handcraft Akafuku mochi one by one, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy freshly made pieces. The event is themed around "matcha," and Isuzuchaya's new product "Matcha Cornet" will make its debut at this event. In addition to the first appearance in the Kanto area of "Ichigo Daifuku" (strawberry mochi), seasonal Japanese and Western confections such as "Mochi Dorayaki" will also be available. For take-home purchases, Akafuku mochi, Shiromochi Kuromochi, Akafuku Zenzai, and other items will be offered.

Freshly Made Akafuku Mochi and the New Matcha Cornet
Live demonstrations of Akafuku mochi, handcrafted one by one by artisans, are limited opportunities. Visitors can enjoy the freshly prepared taste during this special event.
For this matcha-themed event, Isuzuchaya, a Japanese and Western confectionery brand operated by Akafuku, will debut its new product "Matcha Cornet." The cornet features a special matcha cream combined with kanoko beans for a delightful accent. The cornets are prepared fresh at the venue, allowing guests to enjoy the crispy texture of the pastry.

In addition to the Kanto area debut of "Ichigo Daifuku," seasonal Japanese and Western sweets including "Mochi Dorayaki," "San Ichigo Mochi/Choco Mochi," "Toki no Yokan Sakura," and "Okage Inu Sable" will be available.
