"Sample Hyakkaten" (サンプル百貨店), Japan's largest free product sampling service, is set to open a new store — "Sample Hyakkaten Ario Kawaguchi" — on the first floor of Ario Kawaguchi in Kawaguchi City, Saitama, on Monday, April 27, 2026. This will be the brand's first location in Saitama Prefecture.
The Ario Kawaguchi store is the brand's third physical location, following stores at Aeon Mall Chiba Newtown (opened July 2025) and Aeon Mall Higashi-Kurume (opened February 2026). It also marks the brand's first entry into a large "Ario" shopping center.
The store carries a wide selection of products including food, beverages, daily household goods, and cosmetics. Visitors can receive free product samples and try out food tastings, with their impressions shared directly with partner companies — an experience-focused retail concept that connects consumers and brands in a new way.
