A collaboration event between the SEGA NET Mahjong MJ series (hereafter "MJ"), a network multiplayer mahjong game, and Pachinko e Neon Genesis Evangelion: Hajimari no Kioku kicked off on October 5, 2026 (Mon). The event is called "Pachi-Eva CUP 2" (ぱちエヴァCUP2).

Players can enjoy the MJ series while collecting a variety of collaboration items, such as winning animations and table backgrounds inspired by Pachinko e Neon Genesis Evangelion: Hajimari no Kioku.

National Tournament "Pachi-Eva CUP 2" Overview

The collaboration event with Pachinko e Neon Genesis Evangelion: Hajimari no Kioku is held in both the MJ app and the arcade version of MJ.

The tournament runs two formats at the same time, East Wind Battle (東風戦) and Three-Player Mahjong (三人打ち), with combined scores determining the rankings. Players who reach a set score during the qualifying rounds advance to the finals, and the player with the highest score during the finals period wins.

In the app version, participating in the tournament and meeting certain conditions earns players a variety of collaboration items, including an evolved SP character (UR), winning animations, and table backgrounds inspired by Pachinko e Neon Genesis Evangelion: Hajimari no Kioku.
