SESAME STREET MARKET, the world's only official Sesame Street store combining retail, cafe, and workshop experiences, is holding SPECIAL POP UP STORES across six prefectures in Japan between June 2026 and May 2027. Starting in Okinawa, the pop-up tour will visit Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima in sequence.
Each venue will feature the colorful and lively world of Sesame Street, offering visitors a fun shopping experience. Please note that these pop-up stores are merchandise-only events; cafe menu items will not be available.
Venue-Exclusive Limited Items
To mark the SPECIAL POP UP STORE events, a special lineup of exclusive items is available, including an all-venue item and region-specific limited editions.
Donut Costume – ¥4,180 (Available at All Venues)
A plushie accessory designed to make your stuffed toy look like it's dressed as a donut. The costume features a soft, fluffy donut texture and colorful sprinkles, with careful attention to detail throughout. It can be placed on the plushie's head or around the neck for different styling options.
Region-Limited Items
Each location offers its own limited-edition postcard, acrylic keychain, and sticker, featuring vintage-style original artwork of Elmo dressed as local specialties—pop and colorful designs that are fun just to look at.
