The new animated open-world RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (developed by Netmarble F&C Inc.) was featured at the pop culture event "CON-CON HONG KONG 2026," held at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on April 4 and 5, 2026.
CON-CON HONG KONG marks its inaugural edition this year, bringing together animation, music, and interactive content as a large-scale IP-based event. Netmarble set up a playable demo corner for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin within the SONY booth, giving attendees the chance to try the game firsthand.
At the venue, the game received positive feedback for its high-quality graphics faithfully recreating the world of the original anime, as well as its expansive open-world exploration. In addition to the playable demo, the event included novelty giveaways for participants and a photo wall installation.
This event marks The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin's first overseas offline event since its official release. The game launched on March 24, 2026 and is available on PlayStation 5, Steam, iOS, and Android.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an animated open-world RPG based on the hit manga and anime series The Seven Deadly Sins by Nakaba Suzuki, which has sold over 55 million copies in total across the series. The game is the successor to the cinematic adventure RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, which has recorded over 70 million downloads worldwide.
The game features an original multiverse story, in which players take on the role of Tristan—the son of series protagonist Meliodas and Elizabeth—as they adventure across the continent of Britannia. Characters from both The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse can be collected, with combat styles freely customizable to build a unique adventure. Various multiplayer elements are included, such as party-based exploration and boss battles with friends in the open world.
