Netmarble held a "Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi Media Presentation" at its booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS2026) on September 17 (Thursday), 2026, for its in-development game Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi (developed by Netmarble Nexus), based on Kodansha's popular manga Shangri-La Frontier.
At the presentation, キム・ギョンリュル, Development Producer at Netmarble Nexus, and Yamato Yamashita, Head of the Business Division at Netmarble Japan, took the stage to share the latest information on Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi.
Popular cosplayer Enako also joined as a special guest for a talk session about the game, with OooDa serving as MC. Together with the presenters, they shared the game's appeal and the latest information, and a photo session was held as well.
A New Way to Experience Shangri-La Frontier, Made Possible by Its First-Ever Game Adaptation
At the media presentation, Yamato Yamashita, Head of the Business Division at Netmarble Japan, introduced the appeal of Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi around four key points: being the series' first game adaptation, its faithful recreation of the original story, its highly strategic battles, and the "Seven Colossi."
Produced With Anime Studio C2C: An All-New Original 2D Animated PV Revealed
At the presentation, an original PV for Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi was unveiled for the first time.
The PV is a high-quality 2D video produced in collaboration with C2C, the studio behind the animation for the TV anime Shangri-La Frontier.
The footage features familiar characters from the original story, including Sunraku, along with elements that stand out to fans of the original, such as 墓守のウェザエモン. While capturing the world and character appeal that define Shangri-La Frontier, the video also weaves in the game's own switch battles and original staging, resulting in footage that conveys both the charm of the original story and an experience unique to the game.
First Gameplay Reveal, Plus Congratulatory Messages From Creators Katarina and Ryosuke Fuji and Sunraku's Voice Actor
Following the reveal of the original PV, the presentation showcased gameplay using a physical build of the game.
Through the hands-on gameplay, the presentation introduced the game's screen and the mechanics unique to Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi, including its switch battle system, which lets players fight while switching between characters.
Congratulatory messages celebrating the game adaptation were also shared at the venue, sent in by original creator Katarina, manga artist Ryosuke Fuji, and Yuma Uchida, who voices the protagonist Sunraku in the TV anime Shangri-La Frontier.
With messages from the creators behind the original story and the cast who bring it to life, the stage built further anticipation for Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi, the series' first game adaptation.
Playable for the First Time Worldwide at the Netmarble Booth, With Special Stage Events
At the Netmarble booth during TGS2026, playable demo stations for Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi are available.
A special stage featuring popular cosplayers Enako and Ami Minami is also planned. Enako will appear as オイカッツォ, a character she holds particular affection for, while Ami Minami will appear as アーサー・ペンシルゴン, bringing together the trio of main characters, including Sunraku, for a cosplay show.

In addition, a special stage featuring popular streamers SHAKA, Obo, SPYGEA, Mokou, Assari Shoko, Soraru, and Bodoka as guests will also be held.
With OooDa and Taiga Kishi serving as stage MCs, the event will feature live gameplay of Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi and boss battles, delivering the kind of high-energy staging only a lineup of popular streamers can bring.

Synopsis

TV Anime Broadcast Information
The TV anime aired weekly on Sundays at 5:00 PM starting October 13, 2024, across a network of 28 stations in Japan led by MBS/TBS, running for two consecutive cours. It also aired on BS Nippon TV starting October 19 of the same year, Saturdays at 11:00 PM. Production of a third season has also already been confirmed.
