With spring just around the corner, Kanagawa Prefecture's cherry blossoms are forecast to open around March 20 and reach full bloom by the end of March. Sogo Yokohama has assembled a rich collection of sakura-themed sweets and goods so visitors can enjoy the feeling of spring a little early. The softly cherry-blossom-colored Japanese and Western confections are well suited for those who want to recreate the hanami atmosphere at home. A selection of spring lifestyle goods to brighten up a new chapter is also on offer.

Japanese-Style Cherry Blossom Sweets

Sasaya Iori / Iori no Sakura – ¥270 (per piece)
A moist momoyama dough filled with cherry blossom-flavored smooth bean paste, offering a delicate floral fragrance.

Funawa / Imo to Sakura no Bavarois (Sweet Potato and Sakura Bavarois) – ¥594 (per piece)
A two-layer dessert featuring smooth bavarois made from sweet potato and milk topped with a cherry blossom-scented jelly and decorated with a salted cherry blossom. A limited-edition item that looks as spring-like as it tastes.
