Yamanashi Sone Kyuryo Park in Kofu, Yamanashi, will hold the "Day to Enjoy Ancient Times and Nature" event on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Under the theme "See, learn, make, and enjoy," this hands-on event lets participants learn about ancient history and culture while getting close to autumn nature. Participation is free, and the event will be held even in light rain.
Set in the park as the autumn trees change color, the event brings together "ancient times" (history and culture) and "nature" (trees, acorns and more). Participants don't just look around the museum. They also observe nature and make crafts from clay and acorns, so that everyone from children to adults can feel ancient culture, history and nature up close.
The event is open to anyone who likes ancient history and culture or wants to enjoy the scenery, and families are welcome to join for an autumn outing.
