SEGA has announced the release of the third paid downloadable content (DLC) pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on January 8, 2026. The PAC-MAN Pack brings iconic characters from the classic arcade game into the racing action.
PAC-MAN Characters Join the Race
The DLC introduces PAC-MAN and Blinky as playable racers, while Inky, Pinky, and Clyde join as character skins. Players can also race on the collaboration course "Pac-Village & Maze" and drive the PAC-MAN Mobile. The jukebox feature adds PAC-MAN music tracks that can be used as in-game BGM.
The PAC-MAN Pack is available through the Digital Deluxe Edition (which includes the main game and season pass) or by purchasing the season pass separately. Check each platform's store for details.

PAC-MAN Festival Event
Period: January 9, 2026, 9:00 AM (JST) to January 12, 2026, 8:59 AM (JST)
To commemorate the PAC-MAN Pack release, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds hosts a special in-game event. The festival is an online race where participants divide into three teams competing for total ranking points. Teams compete in special rules unique to each festival, such as the number of Touch Dashes.
※ Gadgets earned during the festival will be distributed in future operational updates.
※ Festival rewards may be available through other means in future operations.
※ If you delete your save data, all festival rewards will also be deleted. You cannot obtain festival rewards again, so please be careful.

Legend Competition Round 2 Announced
Round 2 of the Legend Competition, a limited-time event for top racers, will be held from January 23, 2026 (Friday). This online event is exclusively for players at LEGEND9 or above in World Match. Participants will receive an exclusive title as an achievement reward.
Period: January 23, 2026, 9:00 AM (JST) to February 2, 2026, 8:59 AM (JST)
※ "Rate" and "Legend Grade" are reset for each round of the Legend Competition.
Entry Requirement: Players at LEGEND9 or above in World Match
Free Trial Version Available with Data Transfer
The trial version allows you to enjoy Grand Prix mode and Time Trial mode, as well as machine and gadget customization. Save data can be transferred when you purchase the full version, so anyone considering purchasing should give it a try.
