Starward's Version 3.1 update has arrived, bringing back its highly anticipated collaboration with the anime Frame Arms Girl for a limited time starting July 9. The collaboration's exclusive chroma skins are also returning alongside it, giving players who missed Gourai-Kai, Stylet, and Baselard the first time around another chance to add them to their roster.
A summer event is also underway. Simply taking part earns players a free swimsuit skin for Cherub, while a swimsuit skin for Lancelot and a range of previously released popular swimsuit skins are also returning to the shop for a limited time. In addition, three new original Star Operators — Pliszka, Remiel, and Simona — will be introduced in stages throughout this version, each featured in a limited-time pickup gacha.

Frame Arms Girl Collaboration Characters Return
The collaboration characters Gourai-Kai, Stylet, and Baselard are back for a limited time starting July 9.
Gourai-Kai (CV: Kaho Narumi)
An upgraded, more powerful version of "Gourai," the test unit from Frame Arms Girl, fitted with reinforcement parts. She currently lives with an ordinary high school girl, Ao Gennai, and is learning to understand a wide range of emotions.
Stylet (CV: Yuu Ayase)
Proud and easily flustered, Stylet plays the straight man whenever she's around Gourai or Baselard. After losing a battle against Gourai, she ends up moving in with Ao Gennai to work off her frustration.
Baselard (CV: Rika Nagae)
An innocent, petite character who is actually quick-witted and knowledgeable. She loves anything that sparkles and can't resist collecting it when she spots it, often stirring up trouble that pulls everyone else along for the ride.
Summer Event Kicks Off
Starward's summer diving-themed limited-time event, "Deep Sea, Treasure, Grand Adventure!," has begun. Players can head out into a mysterious ocean together with their mecha girls.
Clearing event missions unlocks each character's exploration event and rewards players with Exploration Coins. These coins can be exchanged at the event shop for a range of rewards, and also give players a chance to obtain Cherub's new swimsuit skin, "Explorer of the Azure Sea."
Lancelot's new swimsuit skin, "Knight of the Waves," Elfin's "Ranger's Holiday" skin set, and a number of previously released popular swimsuit skins are also appearing in the shop for a limited time.
Brand-New Original Star Operators Join the Roster
This version introduces "Silver Sparkle - Pliszka" and "Emerald Star - Remiel," both described as remnants of a prior civilization, along with "Viper - Simona," chief judge of Crimson River Castle. Players who unlock the season pass can also obtain the season pass-exclusive character "Legion Massproduction - LM."
2V2 Mecha Combat
Starward centers on 2V2 battles. Players control mecha girls with distinct personalities and fighting styles, combining melee attacks, ranged shooting, agile movement, and tactical play across three-dimensional battlefields. The arcade-style 2V2 fighting action can be played on PC, smartphones, and PS5 without needing to visit a game center, and both standard controllers and arcade sticks are supported. Each match lasts just three minutes, and a team-shared COST power system keeps high-performance characters from guaranteeing an overwhelming win. A cast of characterful mecha girls awaits players' command.
