The "Art Edition" of "DEEP BITE," a commentary video series on the all-new action RPG Stupid Never Dies, is now available. The game is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2026 (Thursday) for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam). In the series, the development team explains the appeal of the game theme by theme.
DEEP BITE: Developers Introduce the Game Themselves
"DEEP BITE" is a video series in which members of the development team introduce what they put into the game and what makes it appealing. More detailed information will continue to be released on SEGA's official YouTube channel until the game launches.
Episode 4: Art Edition
In the Art Edition, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, President and CEO of GPTRACK50 and producer of Stupid Never Dies, explains the game's visual expression.
The game's world is shaped by its art expression, including:
- 3D visuals that make use of a hand-drawn feel
- Enemy designs that combine classic monsters with OT (Overtech)
- Stages inspired by real cities and by historical eras and places, rebuilt into settings that go beyond common sense
- A UI that reflects the perspective of the protagonist, Davy
The video is a chance to take a close look at the game's distinctive "FUNKY" visuals.

About Stupid Never Dies
Devour, steal, and claw your way up.

The game comes from GPTRACK50, a new studio formed by staff who worked on series such as Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma. It is an underdog action RPG about "blazing-fast growth," in which the weakest zombie grows at an overwhelming speed.
The protagonist, a zombie named Davy, takes on dangerous dungeons in another world in order to revive Julia, the heroine who froze to death. To do so, he uses "Body Hack," which embeds gears into his own body, and "Style Eat," which lets him devour enemies, take their abilities, and transform.
Will Davy be able to fulfill his feelings for Julia?
