A collaboration between Nagano's long-established shichimi spice shop Yawataya Isogoro and the iconic Suica Penguin character is arriving at NewDays convenience stores across Nagano Prefecture. The "Suica Penguin Shichimi Garam Masala Can" goes on sale on Saturday, March 14, 2026, priced at 800 yen (tax included).
The tin contains 12g of a garam masala blend made with the following ingredients: chili peppers (China, Japan), cumin, coriander, black pepper, clove, cinnamon, and dried citrus peel.
The product will be available at NewDays, NewDays Mini, and NewDays KIOSK stores throughout Nagano Prefecture (some locations excluded). Please note that reservations and holds are not accepted, and the item will not be sold at Yawataya Isogoro's own stores.
