SUMMER ROAD 10-Minute Auto Roguelite Demo Now Available on Steam

A demo for SUMMER ROAD 10-Minute Auto Roguelite, a casual roguelite RPG published by Phoenixx, is now available on Steam. The demo launch coincides with Steam Next Fest, which runs from June 16 (Tuesday) to June 23 (Tuesday), 2026 (Japan time) — marking the first time the game has been playable on Steam.

A 10-Minute RPG for Busy Adults

SUMMER ROAD 10-Minute Auto Roguelite combines auto-battles with equipment-based costume changes and roguelite progression. Each run takes around 10 minutes, with routes and events changing to keep things fresh across playthroughs.

The game is built on a nostalgic 2D RPG aesthetic rendered in 3D, aiming for a look that feels both fresh and familiar — particularly for players who grew up with classic Japanese RPGs.

Story: Journey with Mogumo

One summer day, a mysterious creature called Mogumo appears in a quiet rural town. Three children set out to find Mogumo's "home" — and along the way they meet companions and travel through forests and wastelands on a small but grand adventure.

The game alternates between a "Town Part" — where players freely explore and interact with residents — and an "Adventure Part," which progresses through auto-battles toward the next town.

Equipment and Costume System

Equipment collected during battles can be swapped in immediately, changing both the character's appearance and available combo actions. Different equipment combinations open up a variety of skill builds.

Background

SUMMER ROAD 10-Minute Auto Roguelite won a prize in the 2nd GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest, an indie game contest hosted by Bandai Namco Studios' indie label GYAAR Studio. The game is developed by Rebuild Games, the two-person team behind スーパーメットボーイ！, known for their playful approach to game design.
