Last year, the series released a "Limited Edition" lineup inspired by the Shichijūnikō (七十二候) — Japan's traditional calendar that divides the year into 72 micro-seasons. The releases were well received, with customers noting the rich malt flavor and the distinctive, carefully crafted packaging.
This new release takes its name from the 27th micro-season, "Umenomikinari" (梅子黄), which refers to the time of year when plums ripen and begin to turn golden. The motif reflects Japan's uniquely nuanced sense of seasonal change.

The beer is brewed using an abundance of Diamond Malt, malted through the traditional floor-malting process, aiming for a rich and high-quality taste. Drinkers can enjoy a gentle, gradual progression of mild bitterness, body, and sweetness.
