SwitchBot, a Tokyo-based company specializing in IoT and smart home devices, is adding a new black color option to its compact robot vacuum cleaner, the SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+ Pro, which offers up to 12,000 Pa of suction power. The new colorway goes on sale September 1, 2026 (Tuesday).
The K11+ Pro is a Pro model housed in a body just 24.8 cm in diameter — one of the smallest in its class — while still delivering up to 12,000 Pa of suction. Its compact size lets it fit into tight spaces without compromising on cleaning power, and it also comes with automatic dust collection, a tangle-resistant design, and smart home connectivity, making it well suited to Japanese homes.
The new black colorway is easy to match with interiors built around monotone or dark tones.
Note: According to SwitchBot's own research, when measuring the combined size of the robot unit and its automatic dust-collection station, the K11+ Pro ranks among the smallest in the world for a robot vacuum with an auto-empty station.

Compact Enough to Place Anywhere — a Black Finish That Blends Into Any Space
The K11+ Pro has a compact design in which not just the robot itself, but also its automatic dust-collection station, takes up less floor space than a sheet of A4 paper. That makes it easy to place beside furniture or against a wall, fitting neatly even into limited spaces.
The new black colorway is a calm option that pairs well with interiors built around monotone, dark, or wood-grain tones. Paired with the brighter ivory option, it gives buyers two colors to choose from depending on the mood of the room.
A 24.8 cm Diameter Means It Can Reach Places Other Vacuums Can't
The K11+ Pro measures just 24.8 cm in diameter and 9.2 cm in height, letting it slip into spots that typical robot vacuums struggle to reach, such as around table and chair legs, under beds and sofas, and into gaps between furniture.
An LDS LiDAR sensor maps the layout of the room, while a PSD proximity sensor detects the distance to furniture and walls, allowing the compact unit to clean tight spaces efficiently.
At about 2.3 kg, the unit is also light enough to carry between floors easily, such as up to a second story. It can store up to five maps, so a different map can be used for each floor.
Small but Powerful — Up to 12,000 Pa of Suction, With Quiet Operation in Mind
Despite its small body, the K11+ Pro delivers up to 12,000 Pa of suction — double the 6,000 Pa maximum of the previous model, the K11+ — thoroughly picking up dust, hair, and food debris from floors.
SwitchBot's proprietary QuietCore Suction technology optimizes the airflow structure, delivering that higher suction power while keeping operating noise to about 45 dB in quiet mode.

Empty the Dustbin as Rarely as Once Every 90 Days, With Less Hair Tangling
The automatic dust-collection station holds a large-capacity 4 L paper bag, automatically collecting debris after each cleaning session so the bin needs emptying as infrequently as once every roughly 90 days.
The main brush uses a rubber design that resists tangling from hair and pet fur, while a dual side-brush setup reduces hair wrap while sweeping up dust along walls and around furniture.

Cleans Automatically While You're Out — Smart Controls From SwitchBot
When paired with a SwitchBot Hub or smart lock, the K11+ Pro can automatically start cleaning when you leave home.
It also supports voice control via Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant, as well as Matter over Wi-Fi, so it can be operated easily by voice or through a smart home setup.
The SwitchBot app allows detailed customization of cleaning areas, schedules, no-go zones, and more, so cleaning can be tailored to the room layout and daily routine.
