Tescom Launches Protect Ion Hair Dryer with Low-Temperature Technology for Healthier Hair

Tescom Electric Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Junji Hada) will release the "Protect Ion Hair Dryer TD462A-P and TD462A-H" in mid-January 2026. This new dryer features low-temperature, high-volume airflow combined with Protect Ion technology to gently care for hair while achieving glossy, manageable results.

Caring for Damaged Hair, Delivering Glossy Results

The dryer features a Care Mode with gentle low-temperature airflow that minimizes heat damage to hair. With a powerful airflow of approximately 2.8 m³/min (※), it can dry hair quickly even with low-temperature wind. The Care Mode can be easily activated with a slide switch.

※When using TURBO mode. Based on company standards. ※JIS standard is 1.5 m³/min.

The included Soft Air Hood (TM) adds an extra layer of gentleness to hair. It delivers soft, spreading low-temperature air, reducing heat-related damage.

Low temperature and Protect Ion features

Equipped with Protect Ion technology (※). It simultaneously releases negative and positive ions, suppressing static electricity that causes hair frizz and damage. It also enhances hair glossiness.
