Celebrate Halloween in Kinshicho Instead of Shibuya at The Kura's "R&B HALLOWEEN" on October 31

The Kura, a music bar in Kinshicho, Tokyo, will hold the Halloween event R&B HALLOWEEN on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The one-night Halloween party offers a wide range of Black music, centered on R&B and also including HipHop, Reggae, and Hawaiian Reggae.

Halloween in Kinshicho, Not Shibuya

When people think of Halloween in Tokyo, many picture Shibuya. For anyone who wants to enjoy Halloween with music and drinks rather than in a huge crowd, Kinshicho now offers another option. The Kura has planned a casual Halloween night built around music selected by DJs, to be enjoyed with a drink in hand.

R&B, HipHop, Reggae, and Hawaiian Reggae

The Kura is a music bar that opened in Kinshicho in August 2026. It regularly hosts DJ events centered on R&B, HipHop, and Reggae, and aims to be a music spot enjoyed not only by Tokyo locals but also by travelers visiting Tokyo from overseas.

For R&B HALLOWEEN, the music crosses genres, with R&B at its core alongside HipHop, Reggae, and Hawaiian Reggae. The Halloween party lets guests enjoy the DJs and the music at the close distance that only a bar offers.

DJ Midori, who is active as a Hawaiian Reggae DJ, joins as a guest and will set the mood for the Halloween night with a wide-ranging selection that includes Hawaiian Reggae. From R&B and HipHop to Reggae and Hawaiian Reggae, the DJ night is not limited to a single genre, and it focuses on letting guests dance to songs they know and enjoy music with a drink.
