TOKYO GAKKI EXPO 2026 will be held on October 31 (Saturday) and November 1 (Sunday), 2026, at the Science Museum in Kitanomaru Park, Tokyo. Following last year's event, this is the 4th edition of the instrument expo, and this year's lineup again features a large number of exhibitors, demonstration stages, and live stages.
The expo is organized by the TOKYO GAKKI EXPO 2026 Executive Committee, with planning and production by JSPA and メジャーセブンス株式会社. Domestic instrument makers, import brand distributors, music publishers, and music vocational schools, totaling 75 companies and more than 210 brands, will gather for the large-scale exhibition.
The catchphrase of TOKYO GAKKI EXPO 2026 is "See, hear, play, and drum — enjoy the best instrument experience at TOKYO GAKKI EXPO!" The event aims to share the fun of instruments with a wide range of visitors.
Admission is ¥3,000 for adults (one-day ticket; ¥2,500 in advance), and free for high school students and younger. The organizers expect more than 10,000 visitors over the two days.
Live Stages at the Science Hall
Two performances will be held on each of the two days at the Science Hall in the basement of the Science Museum.
October 31 (Saturday), 1:00 PM start: Student Music Festival 2026
A stage featuring junior high and high school wind band and light music club members. Admission is free, but a TOKYO GAKKI EXPO ticket is required.
October 31 (Saturday), 7:00 PM start: TOKYO GAKKI EXPO Special Stage "for the Future"
Supported by Yamaha Music Japan. A special stage by Yamaha artists.

November 1 (Sunday), 1:30 PM start: 毛利泰士とザ・ベスト TOKYO GAKKI EXPO Special
毛利泰士とザ・ベスト (nicknamed モリザベス) is an anime song and tokusatsu song cover band formed around 毛利泰士, a music producer and manipulator. With "complete recreation through 100% live performance," the band brings classic songs from the Showa era back to life.

Daisuke Asakura (浅倉大介), who continues to be active at the forefront of the music scene, presents "DA SYNTH WORKSHOP," an event that lets visitors experience the appeal of the synthesizer, in a special version exclusive to TOKYO GAKKI EXPO 2026. Tickets are already sold out.
