Tokyo Prince Hotel (3-3-1 Shibakoen, Minato City, Tokyo) is offering "Tokyo Moonlight Christmas," a stay plan for spending a special night with a close-up view of Tokyo Tower. The plan is available for just two days, Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25, 2026.
The plan features a stargazing experience on the hotel's rooftop, which is opened only for Christmas. With Tokyo Tower rising close by, guests can look up at the supermoon shining in the night sky. Led by a certified "Hoshizora Annainin" (starry sky guide), guests can gaze up at the clear winter sky in the middle of Tokyo with someone special and enjoy a romantic evening.
The supermoon on Thursday, December 24 is the moon at its closest point to Earth for the year, making it appear larger and brighter than usual. Through the telescopes, guests can also see the rings of Saturn, which cannot be seen with the naked eye, and the craters spread across the surface of the moon. With the guide's explanations, guests can enjoy a special observation experience that feels like a journey into space.
