Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu in Minato Mirai, Yokohama, will hold its annual strawberry-themed dessert buffet "Sweet Journey Strawberry" at the all-day dining restaurant "Café Tosca" (2F). The buffet runs on Thursdays only (some dates excluded) from Thursday, January 7 to Thursday, April 22, 2027. A stay plan for the day of the buffet is also on sale.
Tart-Sweet Strawberries Are the First Theme of 2027
"Sweet Journey Strawberry" is one of the hotel's popular dessert buffets, lavishly featuring strawberries, and it fills up almost as soon as reservations open every year. The buffet table lines up signature sweets by Pastry Chef Tanaka, including a gently sweet "Strawberry Shortcake" and a "Strawberry Terrine" that looks like jewels set in a clear jelly. A corner for comparing several kinds of strawberries will also appear.
The wide choice of savory dishes is another draw of "Sweet Journey." Between sweets, guests can enjoy dishes such as juicy roast beef and a carbonara finished with Parmigiano-Reggiano. A plan with free-flow sparkling wine, red wine and white wine is also available. Dinner time offers a luxurious way to enjoy sweets and wine while the illuminated giant Ferris wheel glows beyond the large windows.

Stay Plan with the Dessert Buffet
A stay plan for the day of the buffet is also available. The dessert buffet, normally limited to two hours, can be enjoyed with unlimited time under this plan. The plan also includes free-flow wine and a guaranteed window seat with the Minato Mirai night view right in front of guests.
After enjoying the view and the pairing of sweets and wine, guests can go straight up to their room. From the balcony, they can take in the Minato Mirai scenery in a special, out-of-the-ordinary moment. The plan is also recommended for special days with someone important, such as a birthday or wedding anniversary.
Four Highlights of the Stay Plan
- Reservations open on November 1 (Sunday), earlier than the regular buffet reservations (December 1). Only with this plan can guests secure any date through the April 2027 buffets early.
