Tokyo Takanawa Butterista, a butter sweets brand gaining attention as a new Tokyo souvenir, is making its Narita Airport debut. The brand's "Brûlée Butter Tart" will be available at Fa-So-La KAGURA in Narita Airport Terminal 3 for a limited period from April 1 to April 23, 2026 — a convenient stop before departure for travelers, business visitors, and those heading home.
Tokyo Takanawa Butterista is a brand built around the concept of "making every day a little more luxurious," featuring indulgent butter confections rooted in the Takanawa neighborhood of Tokyo. Launched in September 2025, the brand has quickly earned a following through pop-up events at major Tokyo train stations.
Brûlée Butter Tart

The Brûlée Butter Tart is an elegant, bite-size square tart offering a rich buttery taste alongside three layers of distinct textures: a crisp caramelized surface, a smooth caramel chocolate filling, and a crunchy tart shell. The caramelized crunch topping strikes a balance between bittersweet and sweet, adding a sophisticated finish to each piece.
Package Design

The packaging features a gold and off-white color scheme that conveys luxury, modernity, and a natural aesthetic. Traditional Japanese patterns are woven into the design to reflect the history and culture of Takanawa. The floral motif is inspired by the dogwood tree (Hanamizuki), the official tree of Minato Ward, Tokyo. The tarts come individually wrapped and packed in a compact box, making them easy to share and carry as a souvenir.
