Tickets Now on Sale for Doko Demo Issyo Fan Event "Torofes – Toro Inoue's Birthday Party 2026" – This Year's Stage Features a Dramatic Reading Play

Tickets for "Torofes: Toro Inoue's Birthday Party 2026," a fan event celebrating the Doko Demo Issyo series, went on sale on March 13 (Friday) at 6:00 PM via LivePocket. The event is scheduled for May 2, 2026 (Saturday) at Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho Hall.

Stage Event: A Dramatic Reading Play Takes Center Stage

This year's stage event features a dramatic reading play (roudoku-geki) based on the story of the smartphone app Toro to Puzzle, which ended its service in 2021. Voice actors will bring that nostalgic story back to life once more.

Stage Event Performers

Dramatic Reading: Fuko Saito

MC: Yuki Yomichi

Guest: Kazunori Minami

A dramatic reading play is a form of theater in which voice actors read aloud from a script to tell a story.

In addition to the reading play, further details on the stage program are to be announced at a later date.

Attendance at the stage event (held in the Event Hall on the 3rd floor) requires a ticket.

Merchandise Hall: Free Admission, Largest Scale Yet

Merchandise from the 2025 event

The Merchandise Hall (2nd floor) is open free of charge — no ticket needed. This year's merchandise lineup is being prepared at the largest scale to date, with details to be announced as the event approaches.

Altar Corner and Exhibition Corner

The popular "Altar Corner," where fans can display their own goods and artwork, will be set up in the Event Hall once again. An Exhibition Corner featuring past merchandise illustrations and game images will be available in both the Event Hall and the Merchandise Hall.

About the Doko Demo Issyo Series

Toro Inoue and friends

The Doko Demo Issyo series is a talking game franchise that began with the original Doko Demo Issyo, in which players teach words to Pocket People (Poképi) and enjoy chatting with them. The series grew beyond games into television, merchandise, events, and more. It has now entered its 27th year since the first PlayStation title.

Toro Inoue is one of the Pocket People appearing in the Doko Demo Issyo series — a white cat who believes that if he learns enough words, he can become human.
