UESHIMA MUSEUM, located in Shibuya, Tokyo, is introducing a new program called the "Premium Gallery Tour" beginning April 19, 2026. The tour takes place before the museum's regular opening hours, giving a small group of visitors the chance to explore the collection with expert curatorial commentary in a quiet, uncrowded setting.

Each session accommodates a maximum of 15 participants, creating an intimate atmosphere where attendees can engage directly with the curator, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the works on display and the thinking behind the exhibitions.

After the guided portion concludes, guests are welcome to remain in the museum and continue viewing at their own pace for up to three hours — still before or shortly after the museum opens to the general public.

Due to the specialized nature of the curator's commentary, the program is particularly recommended for junior high school students and older. Children of elementary school age or younger may participate free of charge when accompanied by a guardian.
Note: This tour is conducted in Japanese.
