Pick Your Favorite Illustration and Print It Yourself — "CUSTOM TEE FES." at Kinko's Shibuya Sakura Stage

From Saturday, July 4 to Sunday, July 19, 2026, Kinko's Japan is hosting an interactive T-shirt sales event called "CUSTOM TEE FES." at its Shibuya Sakura Stage store. The concept behind the event is "Choose it, make it, take it home." — visitors select an illustration by one of the featured artists, print it on a T-shirt themselves, and walk away with a one-of-a-kind item.

Choose, Create, and Take Home — A New Way to Enjoy Original Merchandise

At the event, visitors can choose from 30 illustrations by five popular artists — まのでまりな, Spin, まころん, 中村杏子, and サタケシュンスケ — and create their own original T-shirt.

Participants pick a favorite design, decide on the front-and-back combination, and then operate the printing equipment themselves, delivering a hands-on creative experience that goes beyond simply buying finished goods. All five artists have previously collaborated with Kinko's through solo exhibitions and merchandise sales. This event takes that partnership a step further by inviting visitors to actively participate in the creation process, bringing artwork and fans closer together.

Background and Future Plans

Kinko's has worked with artists over the years to share their work and creative visions through exhibitions and merchandise production. Through those collaborations, the company has come to see direct engagement with the production process as a new form of value for visitors. This event uses on-demand printing technology to offer an experience centered on the joy of making and the moment an idea takes physical form — a new point of connection between art and people. Kinko's plans to continue expanding this kind of hands-on approach as a way to co-create with artists and generate new value.
