Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter, where visitors can experience the magical world of the Harry Potter film series loved around the world, will hold a limited-time event called "Magical Winter" from November 13, 2026 (Friday) to January 11, 2027 (Monday, national holiday).
The Harry Potter series is full of memorable winter scenes: Hogwarts Castle rising above a snowy landscape, the village of Hogsmeade buried in deep snow, cozy Christmas gatherings at Hogwarts or at the Burrow, the home of Harry's best friend Ron, and friends chatting over Butterbeer. Each reflects the beauty of winter and the warmth of time spent with loved ones. "Magical Winter" is a limited-time event that lets visitors experience the winter wizarding world of snow and light depicted in the films.
The Great Hall Dressed for Christmas Again This Year
The Great Hall, known for its elaborate decorations, welcomes the Christmas season once again this year. Countless candles float in the air, and beneath their light stand trees more than 5 meters tall. Each tree is decorated with colorful ornaments and ribbons finished by hand, one by one, by the creators who worked on the film series, bringing out the warm atmosphere of a traditional British Christmas. Large wreaths and garlands on the walls, along with tables filled with Christmas feasts and presents, add to the festive mood and fill the hall with the "winter magic" depicted in the Harry Potter films.

Winter Magic Spreads to the Forbidden Forest
This year, the winter magic extends to a new setting. For the first time, the Forbidden Forest, located on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and home to many magical creatures, is covered in snow.
Passing through a heavy iron gate and stepping into the forest, visitors find a snow-dusted, fantastical world. Among the snow-covered trees, the magical creature Buckbeak appears to greet guests. Through projections and footprints that appear along the path, a Patronus leads the way into the depths of the forest where Aragog lives.
Hogwarts Castle is also blanketed in snow, showing an appearance that can only be seen in winter. From the festive Christmas Great Hall to the Forbidden Forest wrapped in snow and silence, and on to the snow-covered Hogwarts Castle, the event offers a special experience unique to this season.

Hogwarts Dinner Plans, Including a New Option for Families
"Hogwarts Dinner," a popular program whose tickets sell out immediately every time, adds a new edition this winter: "Hogwarts Dinner: Magical Winter." After enjoying a course dinner in the Christmas-decorated Great Hall, guests head out on a private studio tour. During the tour, dinner guests can also take part in an exclusive activity that lets them enjoy the surprises hidden in the Christmas trees inside the venue.
In addition, a casual dinner plan that can be enjoyed with children, "Hogwarts Dinner: A Magical Feast for Everyone," will be held for the first time. Families and loved ones gather around the table to enjoy share-style dishes in a dinner unique to the wizarding world. After the meal, a quiz for all participants and a gift exclusive to participants are also provided.
With snow and sparkling lights, and time with loved ones that feels even warmer in the cold season, "Magical Winter" presents the magic and warmth of winter through the world of the Harry Potter films.
