KITTE, the commercial complex in JP Tower in Marunouchi, Tokyo, will hold its Christmas event "WHITE KITTE" from Thursday, November 19 to Friday, December 25, 2026.
This year's theme is "笑顔おどる、クリスマス" (Christmas with dancing smiles). With the Christmas tree as its symbol, the event uses about 40,000 LEDs across the venue to create an entertainment space where smiles gather.
The centerpiece is the "White Christmas Tree" in the 1st-floor atrium, standing about 15 m tall and wrapped in a veil of light. An illumination ring about 10 m in diameter surrounds the tree, and together they decorate the whole atrium. During the event, a "Tree Lighting Show Smile in the Light" synchronizes about 34,000 LEDs with music, and a dance show titled "Smile in the Light - Joy & Wonder Showtime -" takes the White Christmas Tree as its stage. The performers are a team formed only for this event, chosen by audition by the director SHOJIN, who has staged many productions, including large-scale events in Japan and overseas and overseas theme park shows.
Next to the White Christmas Tree, a "Santa's Bag Dome" (サンタの袋ドーム) leads to the "Santa's Study" (サンタの書斎) in the former Tokyo Central Post Office Postmaster's Office on the 4th floor. Guided by messages from Santa Claus, visitors can take part in a photo experience that tours the building, from the Santa's Bag Dome to the Santa's Study.
