KURO GAMES is releasing a major update for the open-world action RPG Wuthering Waves (Windows / Mac / PlayStation®5 / iOS / Android), Ver. 3.2 "Will of Light to Illuminate the Darkness," starting Thursday, March 19, 2026.
Ver. 3.2 is set against the backdrop of the "Sunchange Festival" held at Startorch Academy. Players will venture alongside new 5-star Resonator Sigrika into the mysterious "Reverse School" as the story unfolds. The update also brings a range of festival-themed events, new enemies, high-difficulty content, improvements to the Expedition Bike handling experience, and the addition of an Echo Set Plan sharing feature.

New Story Chapter at Startorch Academy
Ver. 3.2 opens new main story Tidal Episodes: Chapter 3, Act 4 "Gold Unstained by Shadow" and the Interlude Tidal Episode "Rabbit's Shadow in the Inverted World," released in sequence. A special festival called the "Sunchange Festival" is held at Startorch Academy to commemorate the success of Helios' "Sunchange." The academy fills with exhibitions, performances, and puzzle-themed events, creating a vibrant atmosphere unlike any other day.
Behind the festivities, however, an anomaly occurs in the "Reverse School" — a space born from the academy's emotions. Players team up with Sigrika to investigate the cause and uncover the truth lurking within the academy, as the story enters a new chapter.

Sigrika's signature 5-star gauntlets, "Sol Sorne's Annotation," are also making their debut. Designed with runes and light as motifs, the weapon's body is constructed from runes and emits a purple-tinged blue glow, with a light-bearing core built into its interior — a weapon bearing the imagery that defines Sigrika.

Rhythm Game Event: "Riding the Rhythm Wave"
A rhythm game event where players race through stages in time with music. Three difficulty levels — EASY, NORMAL, and HARD — are available. Players pilot a spacecraft and score points by hitting notes.
This event also features a special collaboration with Muse Dash, with three tracks — Drizzle & Dolce, Final Step!, and Cthugha — appearing as special guests.
