Yokohama's DINING & BAR "BAYSIDE" Hosts Spring Lunch Buffet Featuring Kyushu & Okinawa Cuisine

DINING & BAR "BAYSIDE," located on the 5th floor of Yokohama Sakuragicho Washington Hotel, is hosting a "Spring Lunch Buffet: Kyushu & Okinawa Tour" from Sunday, March 1 to Sunday, May 31, 2026. Overlooking the beautiful scenery of Yokohama Minato Mirai, the buffet brings together popular dishes including roast beef, regional Kyushu and Okinawa specialties, and a colorful array of seasonal desserts for a dining experience that evokes the spirit of travel.

The buffet lineup includes standout dishes such as "Kagoshima Black Pork Roast Pork," Hakata's local specialty "Motsu Nabe" (offal hot pot), and Okinawa's beloved "Taco Rice," all prepared with a hotel chef's distinctive touch. The always-popular roast beef is also on the menu.

Desserts change by period throughout the buffet run:

  • March 1 to May 7: Miyazaki-produced Hyuga Natsu (summer orange) cake, shiranuhi and sanpincha jelly, mango panna cotta, strawberry shortcake, strawberry tart, and cherry blossom Mont Blanc, among other spring-inspired sweets.

  • May 8 to May 31: Purple sweet potato Mont Blanc, Fukuoka-produced Amaou strawberry mousse, and shikuwasa jelly, featuring flavors suited to the early summer season.

The buffet is a great option for family meals, outings with friends, or spring celebrations, offering a culinary journey through the flavors of Kyushu and Okinawa.

Spring Break Special Lunch Buffet

From Friday, March 20 (public holiday) to Sunday, April 5, 2026, the event transforms into the "Spring Break Special Lunch Buffet: Kyushu & Okinawa Tour x Strawberry Desserts." The Kyushu and Okinawa savory menu continues, joined by an abundance of seasonal strawberry desserts including meringue and strawberry trifle, strawberry mille crepe, and a strawberry chocolate fountain.

The special buffet also features cold dishes such as green papaya som tam salad and rapeseed flower with smoked trout salmon marinade in shiranuhi dressing, along with hot dishes including roast beef, Kagoshima black pork roast pork, rafute (Okinawan braised pork), and takana-mentaiko peperoncino.
