Yuzawa Nakazato Snow Resort, operated by Hospitality Operations Co., Ltd. as part of the Smile Resort brand, opens for the 2025-2026 season on December 28, 2025 (Sunday).
Located approximately 5 km from Yuzawa IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway, Yuzawa Nakazato Snow Resort offers excellent access for winter sports enthusiasts. The resort features the beginner-exclusive "Angel Gelande" and "Smile Kids Park," both equipped with dome-covered snow escalators to support snow play and slope debuts. Comfortable free spaces are available, including the "Blue Train Nakazato." For intermediate and advanced skiers, the resort offers a variety of ungroomed courses and tree run areas. With diverse facilities and courses suitable for families and active users alike, the resort continues to deliver enhanced snow experiences this winter.

The kids' slope attractions now feature safer artificial items! Packed with fun features that help improve skiing and snowboarding skills while dodging and touching objects along the way.
Growth Park - Endless Ways to Play
A terrain park produced by professional snowboarder Kei Sekiguchi debuts. A new-sensation section where riders can freely play with terrain features like undulations and banks. Designed for beginners to advanced riders to casually challenge themselves and enjoy freeride sensations.
BOARDRIDERS Opens New Location
BOARDRIDERS, featuring 3S culture brands (snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing), arrives at Yuzawa Nakazato. The only ski resort shop in Japan offering a wide lineup of brands including VOLCOM, DAKINE, QUIKSILVER, and ROXY.
Shuttle Bus Service Increased
The number of shuttle buses from JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station to the ski resort has been increased this season. For smoother access, the service interval has been changed from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes.
Family Paradise! Perfect for Snow Play and Slope Debuts
Yuzawa Nakazato Snow Resort is fully equipped with environments where families can enjoy snow play with peace of mind. The "Smile Kids Park" features activities including sledding and snow tubing. With dome-covered snow escalators installed, children can move smoothly, enjoying snow play to the fullest regardless of weather conditions. The beginner-exclusive area "Angel Gelande" also features a 100-meter dome-covered snow escalator. There's no worry about getting on and off lifts, and being separated from general courses allows small children to safely make their slope debut.
