◆Aichi Prefecture – Food & Nightlife
Nagoya's Sakae and Nishiki 3-chome districts are the largest entertainment areas in the Chubu region, offering everything from casual izakayas to upscale bars, where you can enjoy the city's vibrant nightlife along with famous Nagoya specialties. It's a local tradition to pair miso katsu, tebasaki chicken wings, and doteni (miso-simmered beef tendon) with sake or beer. Around Taiko-dori Exit on the west side of Nagoya Station, you'll also find many down-to-earth izakayas, perfect for casual bar hopping.
Other cities such as Toyohashi and Okazaki also feature lively nightlife areas with numerous pubs loved by locals. In tourist spots like Inuyama, you can enjoy izakayas set in traditional castle town scenery, making it easy to combine sightseeing with dining. Along Mikawa Bay, izakayas serving fresh seafood are especially popular.
While some places may have limited English support, a friendly local guide will accompany you, so you can feel at ease. Please note that some areas may have fewer options for bar hopping, but we will check availability for your preferred location. Feel free to contact us to start planning your night out.
