◆Gifu – Food & Nightlife
In Gifu City, the Tamamiya district is the largest nightlife hub, filled with izakayas and bars serving local dishes like chicken chan-yaki and Hida beef. The Yanagase area retains a retro vibe with snack bars and old-style pubs, offering a nostalgic Showa-era feel.
In Takayama's preserved townscape, visitors can enjoy izakayas offering Hida beef and local sake. Gero Onsen also comes alive at night with pubs and snack bars, perfect for relaxing after a soak. Smaller towns like Gujo Hachiman and Nakatsugawa offer intimate izakayas that highlight local flavors.
Some places may not speak English, but with a local guide you can relax and enjoy. In certain areas, bars may be limited, so we will check if bar hopping is possible. Please feel free to book.
