## About Shirakawa-go Light-up
This is an event held only a few days a year in Shirakawa-go, Gifu Prefecture, where the UNESCO World Heritage gassho-zukuri village is illuminated. The sight of lights illuminating snow-covered thatched roofs is like stepping into a fairy tale world. The scenery that emerges in the pure white snow landscape under the clear winter night sky is a sight that should be visited at least once in a lifetime.
The light-up event requires advance reservations, so tickets must be arranged in advance. In recent years, this event has attracted high attention from both domestic and international visitors, so those interested should apply early.
## About the Tour
To Shirakawa-go by a 10-seater vehicle. Operating days are January 12th, January 18th, January 25th, and February 1st (4 days total). We support English and Chinese languages.
Depart from Nagoya Station, stop at the famous tourist spot "Hida-Takayama Historic District" known for its old townscape, then head to Shirakawa-go. After the light-up ends, return to Nagoya Station on this day tour.

### Tour Itinerary
**📍10:00 Meet at Nagoya Station**
※Detailed meeting location will be informed later.
※Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early.

※As this is a shared tour, we will depart on time.
**📍12:30 "Hida-Takayama Historic District": Free exploration (approx. 1.5 hours)**
Take a lunch break in the Hida-Takayama area. There are restaurants and tourist spots, so please enjoy freely.
About Hida-Takayama Historic District
The "historic district" remaining in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture is a historical area that preserves the atmosphere of castle towns and merchant towns from the Edo period. Traditional wooden buildings line the streets, with sake breweries, souvenir shops, and cafes, earning it the nickname "Little Kyoto of Hida". The charming scenery that shows different expressions throughout the four seasons attracts many tourists.

Arrive at Shirakawa-go around 15:00. First, appreciate the village before the light-up, or we recommend using restaurants before they get crowded.
**📍17:00 "Shirakawa-go": Light-up viewing (free exploration)**
Enjoy the illuminated Shirakawa-go.
※This tour does not include observatory tickets during the light-up period. Please note that you cannot go up to the observatory.
※As it gets cold in winter, please prepare adequate cold weather protection.
※As roads may be frozen in winter, we recommend wearing shoes with anti-slip soles.
※There is a possibility that there will be no snow.

## Important Notes
- If the minimum number of participants is not met, we will notify you by email the day before departure.
- Please note that the itinerary order may change depending on traffic and weather conditions on the day.
- Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the departure/start time. Even if customers are late, the tour will depart/start as scheduled. Please note that transfers to other tours or joining midway are not allowed.
- Cancellations are permitted up to 30 days prior to the scheduled tour date. After that, cancellations are not accepted, and 100% of the fee will be charged.
- In the case of late arrival or cancellation due to the customer's circumstances, the tour fee will not be refunded.
- If severe snowfall or other major traffic disruptions occur and the event committee decides to cancel the event, the tour will also be canceled. In the event of a confirmed cancellation, we will promptly notify you by email. If the cancellation is due to bad weather, a refund will be provided.
- This product does not have separate adult or child pricing. It is available from age 0, but there is no child discount.
- Under Japanese law, children aged 0 to 6 are required to use child seats or junior seats. For customers traveling with children, we will confirm the child's age, height, and weight in advance.
- This is a shared tour with other participants. Seat assignments will be made by our company.
- Supported languages are Chinese and English. Please note that other languages are not available.
