Showa-era Tokyo still lives here

"Isn't Tokyo all skyscrapers like Shibuya and Shinjuku?"
If you've ever wondered that, Shibamata offers a completely different experience.

This nostalgic downtown neighborhood has been the setting of the iconic film series Otoko wa Tsurai yo for over half a century. Here, you can still feel a slower, more human side of Tokyo—one filled with small shops, familiar faces, and a sense of community.

Even if you have never heard of Tora-san, don't worry.
With Yumi's guidance, the spirit of this place will naturally come to life.
