En conjunto con «ART FAIR TOKYO 20», que se celebra en Yurakucho —adyacente a Hibiya y Yaesu—, se están llevando a cabo dos programas de arte especiales en Tokyo Midtown Hibiya (Chiyoda-ku, Yurakucho) y Tokyo Midtown Yaesu (Chuo-ku, Yaesu): una exposición de video y fotografía, y una serie de eventos de charlas públicas.

A través de su conexión con ART FAIR TOKYO, los programas tienen como objetivo aumentar el valor cultural dentro de los barrios. Tokyo Midtown Hibiya —conocido como un centro para la cultura del cine y el teatro con el parque Hibiya cerca— se centra en la creación de experiencias artísticas más allá de la visualización pasiva. Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, la puerta de entrada de Japón directamente conectada con la estación de Tokio, crea oportunidades de intercambio a través de la fusión de los negocios y el arte.
※ ART FAIR TOKYO es uno de los eventos de feria de arte más grandes de Japón y el de mayor duración de Asia. En 2025, atrajo a un total de 50.000 visitantes y registró 2.800 millones de yenes en ventas.

① FILMS — un nuevo programa centrado en el videoarte con non-syntax como director del programa. El programa está estructurado en torno a tres capas: «Watch», «Learn» y «Buy», e incluye charlas y programación educativa complementarias.
② Photo Exhibition — en cooperación con Amana Inc., con obras de fotógrafos notables como Daido Moriyama, la exposición destaca la diversidad y la profundidad de la expresión fotográfica.

③ Dialogue: ASK ART, WHY? — una serie de eventos de charlas organizada por Art Tunes, Inc., que trabaja para construir infraestructura para las artes culturales. Profesionales de la vanguardia del mundo del arte, especialistas de campos adyacentes y expertos de otras disciplinas se reúnen para un diálogo abierto centrado en la pregunta: «¿Qué es el arte?».

FILMS es una sección especial de ART FAIR TOKYO que, junto con los curadores, destaca las obras de videoarte sobresalientes y las galerías que las presentan. Se centra en obras de video que han tenido oportunidades de exhibición limitadas, presentando su mérito artístico y contexto histórico. El programa introduce las posibilidades del video como una expresión artística contemporánea y propone nuevas perspectivas y enfoques de colección para los coleccionistas.

non-syntax is a platform founded in 2019 by Kim Qiuyu and Xu Junyi that explores the experimental possibilities of the image in the contemporary era. Based in Taipei and Tokyo, the platform rethinks the frameworks of existing media and genres, creating new spaces for creation and dialogue around moving images and visual culture.

② Photo Exhibition
This exhibition shines a light on the diversity and intensity of photographic expression — a medium that, like video, tends to receive limited attention in the art market — and celebrates the perspectives, thoughts, and techniques of artists working in the field. Visitors can deepen their appreciation of both photography and video, and discover new ways of relating to creative expression.

③ Talk Event "Dialogue: ASK ART, WHY?"
Held during "ART FAIR TOKYO 20," this interactive public talk series reexamines the essence of art. Artists, art world professionals, critics, educators, and practitioners from various other disciplines gather to debate and discuss the fundamental question: "What is art?" Through cross-disciplinary dialogue, the event explores the multi-layered meaning and potential of art in contemporary society.
